A note about my gallery, if you go to 'browse' instead of 'featured' they'll be in the correct order, something went screwy and it shows all my older work first.

Kinda late.

As of Dec 12th 2009 I am once again a civilian. Yay me.

Busy packing all my belongings, or rather, getting it all ready for movers to show up and take it all away - to believered home a few days after I get out of the military.

The last five years have been a long, harsh road; and yet, I wouldn't change it - much. I find it odd that I feel this way when I really look at it, considering the other things I could have been doing. But then, I would have missed everything I've seen overseas. Things that I almost dismiss most of the time - but that others find amazing.

Leave was wonderful for my picture taking, but alas - being back on camp pendleton and the soul crushing despair that comes with it has capped my activities.

I want to go to the beach on a nice sunny day and take lots of ocean related pictures - but no one I know is interested wandering around in the sand as I chase birds, waves, and various small creatures. Reason number three for getting a vehicle soon.

I've been on leave since the start of the month and have been able to take a lot more photos - my last dump had 137 pictures, a lot of it was trash from me messing with ISO settings, exposure and F-stop; but there were a few gems.
